Computer
Requirements

William Howard Taft University is not an “Internet university” in the sense that students are required to complete all their lesson assignments online.
Juris Doctor – Attorney
Track and MBA students are required to submit some assignments electronically. Students enrolled in the tax,
education and
Juris Doctor – Executive Track
programs submit virtually all of their assignments electronically. The University offers online services including “Electronic Course Forums” for all enrolled students and online instruction for law students.
The University believes evidence of computer literacy is required to earn a credible graduate degree in any discipline. Technology also plays an important part in a student’s ability to communicate with administration, faculty, and fellow students. Accordingly, all students must have access to a computer with the minimum specifications set forth below. Prospective students who do not have access to such a computer can contact the Admissions Office for assistance in purchasing a system. There is no need to spend thousands of dollars on a system. Many systems have been advertised for under $750 which will exceed the specifications below.
Students are not expected to be computer experts. However, all students must have a working knowledge of Microsoft
Word®, access to the Internet, and e- mail.
