Student Debt Upon Completion of the Program

Taft Law School has been eligible to offer federal financial aid since July 2008.  As such there have been only a few graduates who have completed the Program after the School began offering Federal Financial Aid.  Therefore, this Program had 11 graduates between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012 (the Award Year).  As such, the median cumulative debt for all graduates of the Program during the Award Year was $0.00.  (Note: The bar examination statistics provided above include both telecommunication and independent study students.  Since January 1, 2009, approximately 90% of the students who enrolled in Taft’s Juris Doctor-Attorney Track Programs enrolled in this Program while approximately 10% elected independent study.

Normal Completion Time

The normal completion time of the Program, as established by the school’s administration, is 60 months.  The Program is four academic years in length with each academic year consisting of a period of not less than 48 nor more than 52 consecutive weeks.  The normal completion time of 60 months takes into account time off between start dates, delays associated with completion of the First Year Law Students’ Examination and time taken off for personal reasons. Seven out of eleven graduates completed the Program within the normal time for completion.

Job Placement

Taft Law School is not required to report placement rates of graduates to either its accrediting agency or the Committee of Bar Examiners.  Many graduates maintain employment with their present employer or begin law practice as a sole practitioner.  For these reasons, the School does not track placement of its graduates.
